Enrollment and Registration

Enrollment

PS 130 Manhattan is a PreK–5 New York City public elementary school. There are 1–2 Gifted & Talented (G&T) classes per grade. Admission and enrollment follow New York City Public School requirements.

For more information about school registration, please dial (212) 226-8072, 8:00 am – 2:35 pm, Monday to Friday, except holidays or breaks.

Registration

Required documents for registration:

  • Child's birth certificate, passport, or record of baptism (or other official age document per Chancellor's Regulation A-101)
  • Immunization records
  • Latest report card/transcript (if available)
  • IEP and/or 504 Accommodation Plan (if applicable)
  • Proof of address — any two of the following:
    • Lease, deed, or mortgage statement
    • Residential utility bill (gas or electric, dated within past 60 days)
    • Cable TV bill (with name and address, dated within past 60 days)
    • Current property tax bill
    • Water bill (dated within past 90 days)
    • Rent receipt (dated within past 60 days)
    • State/city government-issued ID including IDNYC
    • Income tax form for last calendar year
    • Official NYS Driver's License or learner's permit (not expired)
    • Voter registration documents
    • Unexpired membership documents based upon residency
    • Evidence of custody (judicial custody orders, etc., issued within past 60 days)

If you are not the leaseholder of your residence, you must submit a Residency Affidavit.
